Save the green cover and conserve forests. Save hills before they are referred in stories as once upon a time. Conserve energy by turning-off lights when not required (don't turn-off lights in emergency situations, when dealing with any calamity except where it is required to turn-off power, when some work is going on, when there are safety concerns for people, or when someone is sick and there is a need for adequate lighting). Avoid dumping disposables on railway tracks, open lands, river and sea shores to prevent landfills and to ensure a clean environment.

All rashes may not be Shingles yet seek expert opinion if symptoms or signs persist. Beware of Bird fancier's lung, an interstitial lung disease. Timely vaccination can protect precious little lives from vaccine-preventable diseases—Save a child, save a life, and save a dream. Refer government and regulatory advisories, directives, or guidelines. Keep first-aid kit at home and workplace for use in emergencies. Cover water containers to prevent dengue. Avoid fire accidents during festive season. Do not apply iced or cold water on burns and use only cool running water as a first aid. In case a person is bed-ridden for a long time, use air bag to prevent bed sores whether at home or at health care centre. Prefer using prescribed medicines by the health expert and be aware of anti-microbial resistance.

Road safety is important. Try to start early for work if the workplace is far away rather than overspeeding or boarding overcrowded transport services during rush hour. Even if you follow all rules someone else may be in a hurry, so be aware of the surroundings and stay traffic conscious. If possible, try to help the elderly if you find that they are unable to cross the road due to heavy traffic. If possible, offer your seat to the elderly or those in need in buses and metro trains.

Marathon at Wimbledon, upset in South Africa, India Wins Asia Cup: Breeze helps, 15-year wait ends

Far away at Wimbledon, John Isner defeated Nicolas Mahut after 181 games spread over three days. However, fatigue overpowered Isner as he lost in straight sets to Thiemo de Bakker in the second round. It took only 23 games lasting 75 minutes for Bakker to defeat Isner, who made headlines after winning a 11 hours 5-minute battle in the first round.
The soccer World Cup continued to witness upsets as spirited Slovaks forced the defending Champions Italy to take an early flight out of South Africa.
Away from the soccer fever something unusual happened in the subcontinent. India won the Asia Cup at Dambulla after a long wait of 15 years. Now what was unusual about it? It’s not the first Cup the Indians have won.
The unsual was the brilliant bowling display by the Indian seamers Zaheer Khan, Praveen Kumar, and Ashish Nehra. We rarely get to see the Indian front-line attack break through the opposition defence of the likes of Sangakkara and Mahela in their home ground. The trio made the most of the evening breeze and the Lankans faltered. A spirited effort by Kapugedera could not stop India from winning its fifth Asia Cup.
The stage is now set for the Test series against the Lankans and a chance for cricket fans to see the Little Master back in action.
